The safety of healthcare workers is core to good patient care – if healthcare workers aren’t protected good treatment outcomes could be jeopardised.
A confined space is large enough for a worker to enter and work in but has a narrow and restricted entry and exit point. It is not meant to be occupied continuously and most of the time there are no people inside a confined space.
